The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) determined that the best path to sustaining and growing the Florida HIE was to modernize the technology infrastructure, enabling greater scalability, efficiency and innovation while continuing to provide statewide notification services.

The Florida HIE is moving to a platform built and powered by CRISP Shared Services (CSS). The contract with the former technology platform, Audacious Inquiry, a PointClickCare Company, will be  sunset in August 2026.

The transition began in September 2025. The CSS HIE platform is planned to be live in July 2026.
